I’m sure those fans who won’t stop banging on about how tin pot the ECL is wont be that arsed about whether we win it or not.
For me, it’s just the level we are at right now and should be seen as a springboard, if we win it. Doesn’t mean I won’t be celebrating hard if we do win the thing though. Anyone sitting their with the arms folded muttering that the comp is beneath us will only reinforce the notion that we have a delusional fan base.

Yeah that Mourinho fucking dogshit, has barely won anything in his tiny short career, what a wanka.
In a one off game there aren't many people I'd back ahead of Mourinho. I think Roma will be the inferior team but win.

So what they do? They are desperate for a bit of glory seeing as they are in the top end of Italian clubs.....and haven't really been winning a lot....stop with this trying to big up the Europa Conference......UEFA don't...you can tell by where they choose to hold the final.....it's a gateway into the Europa......that's it's best thing.....

The Roma fans love Mourinho for delivering their first European trophy for them.
Delivering another cup this year would further that relationship and make him a legend there despite the league form not being brilliant.
Even at Man Utd he won the league cup and Europa League in the same year while also getting Tottenham to a final a couple of years later.
He’s definitely a manager that loves a cup competition.

Mourinho has done an OK job there, and I'll stick my neck out and say that Sevilla will beat them next week. Of course, the special one will have a load of excuses lined up as to why.

His expertise in recent years hasn't been winning cups.....the Europa Conference win was his first for 5 years.......again..... spouting shit to try and make this cup sound better than it is......

Mourinho’s expertise in recent years has been winning cup competitions rather than strong league form.
I disagree that the Conference League wasn’t a big deal for Roma. It was their very first European trophy and their fans certainly celebrated it in a big way.
It’s also been used as a platform and momentum to reach the Europa League final this season. Much like Mourinho used to like winning the league cup as a platform and momentum to go on and win other things as manager of Chelsea & Man Utd.
Thankfully Tottenham has been the exception although he was sacked just before the league cup final that he got them to which was a ridiculous decision.
It looks like 2 seasons in a row Roma will finish outside the top 4 which would be considered disappointing if not for the conference win last year and possible Europa league win this year.

I don't think he's done that great. He finished 6th last year and will finish 5th-7th his year, same as in the 3 seasons before he joined. It's been about 20 years since they finished lower than 7th, and most of that time they were in the top 3. This is not a small club we're talking about here. Obviously he's bigged up the Conference League like it was a massive win, but it really wasn't, especially for a club who are regularly in the Champions League.

As much I hate spurs there is something about him that you can’t help liking. I like him more if he is counting off spurs. Seeing the documentary about Sir Bobby Robson and his respect and love for him was nice. I can see why players give everything for him. Look what he’s done at Roma. And I don’t usually give a fuck about any other club than West Ham

They also got a bit of a savaging on SSN yesterday which was quite funny. Journos saying there's a huge gulf between the club they are and the club they THINK they are, and their manager search and subsequent rejections since Mourinho left has been utterly humiliating.
